Why do you not put any value or trust within our intelligence operations within this country now? There was a time that you took their word as coming straight from the lips of God. Until they stated numerous times there was no criminal act involved with the E-Mail Red herring the GOP ministry of propaganda put out there. (Some of you are still squalling over that one).

Things in this nation are increasingly becoming ass backwards, with the media serving as propaganda minister for the emotional storms the wealthy want to continue to rage so they can get more power and more money. They purchased our government via objectives designed to create fear and emotional stress amongst the general population of this country; and it worked so they are now doubling down.

All of this served to create distrust of all things government and an unrealistic acceptance of media propaganda as truth. And now we have an incoming POTUS that represents the worst of this country on a daily basis.

All of these things serve to weaken this nation collectively. Russian leadership is probably having a hard time sleeping at night over the sheer joy of the realization that they can now manipulate US governance. How long before we have Russian Navy Vessels off our coasts and aircraft infringing upon our airspace, each bristling with weapons of mass destruction? (Not long as they've already been pushing the envelope for years now).

Let me share with you an exchange from the FBI Director and a representative:

    Comey: "That's not true, there were a small number of portion markings on, I think, three of the documents."



    Gowdy:"Secretary Clinton said, 'I did not email any classified material to anyone on my email, there is no classified material.' Was that true?"

    Comey: "There was classified material emailed."

    Gowdy: "Secretary Clinton said she used just one device. Was that true?"

    Comey: "She used multiple devices during the four years of her term as secretary of state."

    Comey: "No, we found work-related emails, thousands, that were not returned."

Well if that's the case, then I could reverse this and say the same about you guys NOT trusting government?

My point today is, do we have ANY conclusive evidence that Russia had anything to do with the election?  As far as I have learned we have NOT, at least anything that our "intelligence" is willing to share.

Drat! Nobody consulted me either! But we can be sure Donald Trump will be tweeting his version of reality.

I spent a good part of my morning listening to BG Clapper, Director of National Intelligence, answer questions during Senate hearings about what is/has been going on, but I finally walked away in disgust because, just as he was very carefully saying as much as he could about covert information, and said several times that he could not comment on information that would be presented "tomorrow," a chirpy MSNBC news talker broke in and began giving HER interpretation of what he was saying.

I don't implicitly trust ANY government. But let's not muddy the water with it. . .

Our intelligence agencies say they do. Moreover they agree on the conclusions as well. (A rarity).

Then lets consider the fact that Russian aggression is an ongoing issue for any "free" entity in this world, and we've been a fat target for them for decades. Their propensity for pushing the envelope on national/international lines is insidiously infamous. (The list goes on and on surrounding reasons they are not to be trusted).

So yeah, I say we take it at face value for now and then await the facts in the interim. Especially given that our intelligence agencies agree on the allegations. (Besides, the Raging Cheeto will tweet about it tomorrow immediately following his briefing).
