At 10:30 P.M. tonight (EST), my TV guide says  that TCM will be showing a movie that absolutely stunned me when I saw it a long time ago. I don't want to say a word about it except that it's classified as Science Fiction, and stars Charlton Heston and Edward G. Robinson and some others. I promise you you'll stop and think for a while if you do watch it.

I've watch it at least 5 times and it really gives a person something to think about as do some of the other so called science fiction movies like Ferenheit 451 and Logan's Run.

"Tuesday is Soylent Green day".  I've watched it, too.  Interesting flick.

There is suppose to be a super moon out also on a different note.

Okay, the super moon is tomorrow night around here. My apologies on thinking it was tonight.

Thanks for the reminder.

Well, I wish you'd been right, because on the actual night of the super moon didn't even get a quick glimpse. It had rained during the day and the night was cloudy.

As for forgetting politics, I'ma tryin'! But it's hard. For the first time in my life, I let myself get emotional about politics: Donald Trump  :spooked: for president? Some of it was/is because I think I am the only one in my entire family who's a democrat.

This was the first election I ever got upset about.  It's still hard to believe people wanted a man that promoted bigotry, racism, and misogyny in to the highest office of our nation.

We generally don't speak politics in my family because it is too much of hot button.  My family is pretty conservative, but myself and two of my siblings are liberal.

I get so sick of the Republicans saying,  the American people want this and they want that.  The American people, the American people want a change, in their Social Security, Medicare.  The American voter is so smart.  All I got to say is.

And, on a lighter non political subject, it's a zoo out there today at the grocery store more than usual. Wonderful day to be out and about though.

Law of Logical Argument - Anything is possible if you don't know what you are talking about.  ;)

"You've probably noticed that opinion pollsters go out of their way to include as many morons as possible in surveys ... I think it's dangerous to inform morons about what their fellow morons are thinking. It only reinforces their opinions. And the one thing worse than a moron with an opinion is lots of them." -- Scott Adams

In other words: Never underestimate the power of stupid people in large groups.  ;)

"Hitler is gone, but if the majority of our fellow citizens are more susceptible to the slogans of fear and race hatred than to those of peaceful accommodation and mutual respect among human beings, our political liberties remain at the mercy of any eloquent and unscrupulous demagogue." -- S. I. Hayakawa
