Sure was. Duke and Bo D and I were posting on the old Bluefield Daily Telegraph posting board when it made the move to Hey Martha. I joined here on Dec 8, 2011.

My, how time flies!

That was a crackpot area, especially when they allowed Ziggy/Tattoo Vampire to moderate it behind the scenes and post to boot.

Those WVians that stay planted there seem to be as fundamentalist and RW as they come - all to their own detriment.

One has just about never met any group so proud to vote against themselves.

Speaking of that area, remember Dingo Don Rose and his Army of Idjits?   :rotfl:

I registered in December 2008. I was on the HB forum and came over here when it closed. It got really nasty the last few weeks. One person I remember was Kent. He wouldn't take his kids to see Santa Claus, said he wouldn't lie to his kids.

Yes it did for several reasons.

One of which was the publisher at the time was posting on the forum and attacked another poster of a differing political persuasion with an attack that amounted to libel.  CHNI leadership, the HM admin - Sweeper, and the HB mod - Mikey, all allowed it to stand resulting in a law suit.

Another was KPaul, that idiot admin who ran the Muncie Star Press into the ground and was canned for his efforts, started a forum for a personal revenue stream and manipulated Anderson members to join and fund him.  KPaul was fermenting as much trouble on HM as he could in order to up his income from AFP.  It took quite a long time, but it seemed everyone finally figured out what he was all about and the place vaporized.

Kent appeared to be a reasonably decent guy who was taken in first by KPaul, and then by Kooks.  He seemed to have a lot of home/personal problems and finally disappeared from forums.

Old Kooks is still around - just like Ziggy (Tattoo Vampire)

I was recently let in on that both of those jealous little weasels have been putting up 'Zone' forums etc. to attack me and the real 'Zone' - even though DNP has had the place for years.

I'm going to make certain DNP knows what the two are up to.

It's hilarious that neither of them have the intestinal fortitude to look me up here and come at me straight on.  Some folks just never grow up.

Holy shit!  We've been at this for 10 years?   :spooked:

I wish....I've been on a really long hiatus.  :)
Looks like I've come full circle.

He left Indiana, interest in Indiana forums left him.  They don't even use the yahoo messenger any longer...though if I looked hard enough, I would probably find him or his wife on Facebook.   They were really nice people, I knew them outside of the forum.
Looks like I've come full circle.

The wanderer....yes, it's been way too long. I'm grateful to see some familiar faces & a warm welcome after all of this time. Hard to believe and great to see everyone here for a decade!

Arguing with Christians is like playing chess with a pigeon.  No matter how good I am at chess, the pigeon is just going to knock over the pieces, shit on the board and strut around like it's victorious.

The truth is slow, but relentless. Over time it becomes irresistible.
