If you wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt on that - I particularly don't - we might chalk that up to simple hyperbole.

The problem with that though, is that the majority of the people in that audience aren't smart enough to discern hyperbole from any other thing SCROTUS (tip 'o' the hat to Ex for that one) says that may waft across their ears at any given time.

McCain is a war hero?  Yeah, I can go with that.  He served our Military with honor.  Does McCain have a brain tumor?....it appears so.  I have sympathy for him.

I can respect him as a person, but not as a Senator. He has NOT been a conservative as he tried to fool his constituents into believing.
