I think he got better as the speech progressed.  In the beginning, he was very rigid with his eyes almost glued to the teleprompters in front of him while speaking almost in a monotone fashion.

It's interesting to read the different perceptions between someone who wants to blow Trump and someone who doesn't.

Very true.  It's almost as if they listened to two different speeches.

Stock markets surge to fresh intraday records after Trump speech

Do you ever really read the links you put up beyond the headline and the hook?

Like that one, they rarely support your premise.  (you should have read down till the meat of the article - the Fed)

Try it sometime.  ; )

I don't know how anyone but the sub-100 crowd can stand to listen to him.

His language skills are atrocious, and his content is third grade level and rarely coherent.

I find it extremely difficult to believe he graduated college on his own merit.

English is where they get rid of the chaff, and he doesn't exhibit the skills to have passed basic English 101.

As a matter of fact, I find him worse than listening to 'athletes' and I absolutely HATE listening to 'athletes'!

I find it rather sad that when you can't fault the content you fault the person with a personal attack. He didn't stammer and stutter or hold his head up looking down his nose in an egotistical manner, he looked straight at the people/camera and spoke in trems of the people rather than himself. He was inclusive rather than divisive.

Stop making excuses for the Raging Cheeto's inability to lead in a constructive manner.

Last night was his "best shot" at sucking up to the individuals that are opposing him; and he did poorly. Words are words and as Clara Peller so famously hawked quite sometime back, "Where's the beef?"

Again, the stock market's reaction is simply a reflection of the wealthy's confidence that this POTUS is going to further bolster their coffers and widen the gap between them and the have nots. Period. And when congress gets done with him that giant sucking sound you'll hear is going to be the middle class as they descend into the cesspool of poverty.

The Cheeto in Chief has done nothing thus far to improve the quality of life of the middle-class and poor:

- He has made it increasingly difficult for middle-class home buyers to purchase a home.

- He has sabre rattled domestically and created enemies within the very body of government he needs support from in order to achieve anything.

- He has gutted the State and Diplomatic departments and is replacing them with political puppets of his will. (Or trying to).

- He constantly spews half truths and outright lies as if he has the power to make them the truth.

- He and his cohort the anti-christ are busy alienating an entire class of this nations population by treading on their constitutional rights.

- He continues to assert that he is above the laws of the land he is supposed to be governing, and issues executive orders as frequently as anyone reading this wipes their own ass.

- He is busy whining about "Obamacare" but we still don't have any idea what he and his administration intend to replace it with. (And at this juncture I'm fairly certain they don't care what they replace it with or who it dooms to fiscal ruination and death).

Thus far I have seen absolutely nothing that is positive surrounding this POTUS or his administration; outside of the fact that as each day passes his expiration date gets closer.

Well. Nancy Pelosi has asked Attorney General Jeff Sessions to resign. Reason: He lied about contact with Russians. Source:  MSNBC. A regularly scheduled program was interrupted by breaking news about Trump and his people and the Russians. I sat there for 2 hours trying not to miss a thing, and I swear it sounded like a good spy novel.

I need to get some sleep so won't try to describe all that went on  except for one thing that was both surprising and reassuring: when former POTUS Obama was made aware of certain information regarding what has been going on, he very carefully passed  it on to certain others he could trust.

Two newspapers, The Washington Post and one other, will air the stories tomorrow morning.

Yeah, 'me' poo-pooed this information when it was first mentioned the other day but now it's everywhere.  Seems simple enough...Sessions sat in front of Congress and flat out stated that he had had zero contact with the Russians.  That was an outright lie.  He needs to go.
