Hell NO!
He raised Federal Revenue by cutting taxes, which spurred the economy.  SPENDING more than we bring in is wrong.....it is basic econ 101.
I don't understand why this is hard for democrats to understand. (And I know, I know! Republican Congress is just as guilty!!! I'm not defending that!)

I'm thinking, you guys would be okay with "doin" Hillary....which may be about as bad as blowin Reagan.

OH MY GAWD!

Hank, you are SUCH a hypocrite.

You want to hold and blame government and Democrats to standards that you won't hold - and haven't held - yourself to (on more than one occasion I might add) and took advantage of a Constitutional guaranteed bail out (again more than once) and want to deny others government aid.

It's no wonder you worship that crook Drumpf.

Cogent analyses like this are easily found, and as you're no economist - and can't even run your own finances - pardon us for thinking you're an idiot when it comes to economics.

http://www.npr.org/sections/itsallpolitics/2015/10/30/452905475/fact-check-do-tax-cuts-grow-the-economy

"t is by no means obvious, on an ex ante basis, that tax rate cuts will ultimately lead to a larger economy," as the Brookings Institution's William Gale and Andrew Samwick wrote in a 2014 paper.

According to a 2012 report from the nonpartisan Congressional Research Service (referenced by the New York Times' David Leonhardt in a 2012 column), top marginal tax rates and economic growth have not appeared correlated over the past 60 years.

Likewise, the economic research firm Moody's found in 2008 that temporary tax cuts (like rebates) could boost GDP, but permanent ones had a much weaker effect. Meanwhile, boosting spending on programs like food stamps and unemployment had a stronger effect, they found.

AND anti-everything for workers.

In Anderson, it's easy to see how religion destroys government and a good economy.  ALL of those people who retired from GM with HUGE pension plans and benefits who then joined the born again evangelical movement to get rid of unions....they just gripe me to no end.....

Not only are you wrong, your memory - like most of you RW idiots - is entirely selective.

Just one example:

http://money.cnn.com/2010/09/08/news/economy/reagan_years_taxes/

Despite the aggressive tax cutting, Reagan couldn't ignore the budget deficit, which was burgeoning.

After Reagan's first year in office, the annual deficit was 2.6% of gross domestic product. But it hit a high of 6% in 1983, stayed in the 5% range for the next three years, and fell to 3.1% by 1988. (By comparison, this year it's projected to be 9% but is expected to drop considerably thereafter.)

So, despite his public opposition to higher taxes, Reagan ended up signing off on several measures intended to raise more revenue.

"Reagan was certainly a tax cutter legislatively, emotionally and ideologically. But for a variety of political reasons, it was hard for him to ignore the cost of his tax cuts," said tax historian Joseph Thorndike.

Two bills passed in 1982 and 1984 together "constituted the biggest tax increase ever enacted during peacetime," Thorndike said.

We've buried him in examples for years and he still continues to spout the same ignorant lies.  You can't fix stupid.
