Ya' know, it's gotten to the point that it just pizzes me off when people complain about 'term limits' and 'draining the swamp' because both of those are directly in the hands of the voters every time a congress person runs for re-election...

...and yet the same people that are always complaining re-elect the same ole' same ole' every election and expect differing results.

Now what was that common definition of insanity?

Yep!  That's something I've never understood myself.

One of my friends posted this very appropriate statement on Facebook: ...

This election is as important to those of us who don't want our lives to be held hostage by the sub-100 IQ and authoritarian crowd as any we've ever seen.

We're staring straight into the face of having a psychopathic, authoritarian, neanderthal (and that's an insult to Neanderthals), would be dictator elected to the highest office in the land and his like to all the down ballot offices.

We can't afford to be lackadaisical this election cycle!

Well that sucks, a friend of mine just went to vote and was told that as of two weeks ago he was no longer registered to vote. What's up with that? He's pissed and has every right to be.

AFAIK, he can force them to let him vote with something that close to election.

Of course, if he's going to vote Repug, he may as well not bother with it.

People who will not join parties but prefer to carry the label "Independent": create this cesspool of candidates the rich give us.  JOIN a party and fight from within.  A long battle which has been done before.

Touché!
Arguing with Christians is like playing chess with a pigeon.  No matter how good I am at chess, the pigeon is just going to knock over the pieces, shit on the board and strut around like it's victorious.

The truth is slow, but relentless. Over time it becomes irresistible.

I just checked his thread and there are others the same thing has happened to. One couple moved a few months back, both registered with their new address, she was allowed to vote but he wasn't. None of these people have stated their political affiliation btw, I do know what my friends is though.
