And from the chart in your own article, you can see proof from the CBO that what Exterminator said was true.  The deficit is much smaller now than it was when Obama took office.

In case you need crayons again,  the deficit is the delta between the two lines on the chart.  If you need the definition of what a delta is, then refer to a dictionary.

BTW, the Clinton (Bill) surplus is also clearly shown on that chart.  If any of you conservative nitwits knew how to knowledgeably apply historical events to that graph, the picture would become clearer to you.

The surplus is visible.  Then what happened next?  George W. Bush was elected.  What did he do?  He cut taxes straight out of the gate, based partly on that surplus.  Then, he launched two wars, one of which was completely unnecessary, while keeping his tax cuts in place.

What logically followed is the reversal of the lines where the surplus was again replaced by deficits.

Can any of you do basic math while keeping historical knowledge of what happened during those times in mind?

Stop using those damn facts!   ;)

What budget? There hasn't been a budget done since Obama took office so they can spin those figures anyway they want.
QuoteIn fiscal year 2016, the federal budget deficit will increase in relation to economic output for the first time since 2009, CBO estimates. If current laws generally remained unchanged—an assumption underlying CBO's baseline projections—deficits would continue to mount over the next 10 years, and debt held by the public would rise from its already high level.

That statement is about as factual as the one you made stating that they can't grow grapes in England.

It illustrates such a profound lack of understanding of the subject that I was at a loss how to even respond.
