Cut up the left over smoked sausage and 'taters from the other night and cut them up, threw some eggs in with them and topped it with shredded cheese and had that and toast.

Pork chops, (Shake n bake), creamed corn, green beans, and fried bread; all washed down with a nice, long, cold, unsweetened iced tea.  :food12:

The fried bread came from the Gunny's web site. (Get ready to cook maggot!) Damned good!  :yes: (I may have figured out how to make biscuits because of it too!)  :biggrin:

Fried bread...yummy.  What recipe do you use?

We're getting ready to chow down on some 'tater soup.

Ingredients

    * 3 cups flour
    * 1 tbsp baking powder
    * 1/2 tsp salt
    * 1 cup warm water
   

Directions

Combine dry ingredients in a bowl. Add warm water in small amounts and knead dough until soft but not sticky. Adjust flour or water as needed. Cover bowl and let stand about 15 minutes.

Pull off pieces of dough (size of eggs) and roll out into thin rounds. fry rounds in hot oil until bubbles appear on the dough, turn over and fry on the other side until golden. serve hot with honey brushed on top.
