Hi Kimmi, oh that sounds wonderful did you keep some cool wine for me too I hope so is it red wine or white I love both actually and you say that you had some beer but it is too cold and wet here for me today for any beer so I will stick to having some wine or spirits to keep me nice and warm with some crackers.
:spooked: Is it cold there  I thought it was hot year round Down Under. LOL!!!

cannoli:

now that you mention it, i think i'll eat coco wheats for lunch... mmm... (mostly because i am out of cannoli... lol...)

The last thing I ate was mushrooms, noodles and some chicken that was for my dinner last night as remember that it is Sunday morning here very early and I shall have my breakfast here later on this morning.

~Daisy~

A handful of potater chips....I'm going to start dinner soon. Its this, but slightly different:

1 leek, white part chopped and some of the greens sliced
3 large or 15 baby carrots, chopped
1/4 large white onion, finely chopped
    1 clove garlic, pressed
    3 red potatoes, unpeeled, chunked
    1 medium zucchini, chunked
2 cups veggie pasta, any shape
    1 red bell pepper, chopped
    1 yellow bell pepper, chopped
sea salt & freshly cracked pepper to taste

Directions:

Boil 1.5-2 quarts water.  Add carrots, onion, garlic, and leek greens.  Boil for 15 minutes.

Add potatoes, zucchini, and pasta.  Cook 10 minutes.

Add bell peppers, salt, and pepper, cook an additional 5 minutes, and serve!

*****I'm cooking it for a few hours  in a crock pot instead, and using vegetable broth intead of boiling water. The water just doesn't sound very flavorful.

Do you have a McDonalds near you??? I love their food and the prices are great. I worked at one for almost 2 years. You'd be surprised how strict their food safety requirements  are. Those little hamburger patties, get thrown in the trash after only 20 minutes.  :spooked: The chicken McNuggets are only good for 30 minutes. Boy, you talk about alot of waste. When I worked there it was nothing, to throw away 150 nuggets at a time, and 50 hamburger patties at a time. They wouldn't let the employees have that stuff, and only gave us a 10% discount. I'm sure some of the workers hoarded it home somehow, but I never did because it's considered stealing. I would never steal from an employer. I figure if somebody is good enough to give you a job,you should do that job to the best of your ability and not take advantage of them.

Yes we have McDonalds but I do not eat it that much only if I want a change of food while going shopping for my lunch, and you are right it is not good to steal from an employer as you lose credit being a human being and my youngest daughter used to work for McDonald's for 3 years.
