How do you make your tatertot casserole?

When I make it, I brown  2 lbs ground beef and 1 large onion and drain it. Then stir in 1 and a half cans of cream of mushroom soup.Add spices to your liking. I usually use a little dash of garlic salt ,onion powder and black pepper. Then layer it in a glass cassarole dish. Then layer the frozen tater tots evenly over the beef mixture. Then bake uncovered at 400* for 1 hr. Its pretty tastety. My husband thinks its the bomb. He'll be eating the leftovers in about an hour, so no cooking for me tonight.

Mine is about the same except we have always put whole kernal corn on top of the beef mixture before the tater tots. We love this dish!
