Yeah. . . I do that too, but I am taking the above to address some allergies and sleep deprivation. B 12 complex assures you do not lose some of the key chemicals in your system required to induce the sleep cycle. The C is just to assure my resistance stays up. . .

I have a prescription for a sleeping aid, but prefer NOT to use it unless I absolutely have to. . . But if this doesn't work I may actually have to resort to the prescription . . .
Get some Melitonin PH.  Much safer than prescription and works great.  Yes, I'm still awake at this time of the morning.  I think I've got my nights and days mixed up...ugh

Well, that easy to do in the winter especially here in Indiana with days and days without sunshine.  A man I worked got that way and he built himself a light box, you can buy them to.

I can't remember how many watts of light he had, but he would sit down in front of it at a certain time of the day and stay there so many minutes a day and he cut out all naps.  When he got sleepy he would get up and do something, anything.  He said it helped and to me he looked a lot better.  The dark circles under his eyes went away and he said he was sleeping all night long.  This didn't happen to him during the spring, summer or fall, just winter.

I've always been a night person though so it's been an ongoing problem for me.  I also rarely sleep more than 5 hrs or so at night.

Melatonin - Have it, used it the last three nights, still the same old crap - Fall asleep just before dawn and wake up 2-3 hours later. . .

Light box - I've seen them and know about them. They are used in Alaska a LOT, because of the 6 months of night and the resulting depression it drives. They work, but not for whatever the hell it is I have going on. . . Tried it already. . .

I am giving very serious consideration to just taking a rubber hammer and knocking myself out!

Instead, I'll probably resort to the damned prescription this weekend. . .

I'm sorry...I know you're frustrated, but the mental picture of you smacking yourself over the head with a rubber mallet is too funny

Go to you doctor and get some depression pills or have testosterone test.  I felt like you years ago and around your age.  I found out it was not depression at that time.  I had zero testosterone, you do know that men go through the change of life too and some times a lot earlier than you would think.  I take shots now.  Yes, my wife shoots me in the butt once a month.  Thank god she's good and like me.

It sure change my life at that time.  The condition is called Andropause.  Check it out on the internet and see what it is and what it causes.  Testosterone is very important to a man's life.  Check it out.
