Wow!!!!  "they are going to get their money, not when they planned on, but still are going to get paid."

Not what they planned on indeed. Maybe a few pennies on the dollar. And this is OK with you?

So that's how it works; huh?  When someone's mortgage gets foreclosed on, it's the bank's fault because they took the risk?  Or when someone writes off medical bills in bankruptcy, the doctors and hospitals took the risk?  Does this awesome moral compass of yours come from your religion?
I'm not talking about personal bankruptcy....and you know it.  I didn't make the law either.  It is there for a reason, or we wouldn't have it.  Let's not get off of the subject, that being you guys think Trump is a horrible person, because he utilized the law to restructure a deal that went south for many reasons.  Out of the several hundred deals he made....he had four that went CH11....and JUST BECAUSE it is Trump, it makes front page news...despite the 22,000 plus jobs he DID create and the several billions of dollars he generated for other business partners.
You are good at turning the table and making this an argument over something entirely different.

People take risks all the time in the building industry and the bank industry.......I'm not OK with it, but that is the way it is.  I bet the majority of those who lost, would STILL do business with Trump, if they had the chance.  Because he wins, a hell of lot more than he loses.

He used the law to make himself rich at the expense of others.  That makes him a horrible person.  Very telling that you defend this as ethical.

You want to get into ethics?  Let's talk Hillary then.... ;)

I can't get over the fact that you think bankruptcy is OK. I have seen many cases where people use it to get out of debt that was their own fault. Disgusting!

I'm not defending Hillary.  I wish we had better candidates across the board but we don't and as it stands today, she is the most experienced and best qualified person running for the job.

YES!!  Yet his biases won't let him see that.  She's far more qualified that Trump could ever hope to be.

All I am saying is, that is a law of the land.  We can argue about several laws, if they are fair or not.

So is abortion. How selective are you about the law?

No BIAS at all.  I think she is a lying crook.  I do not like her demeanor.  I don't think she is trustworthy....and neither do most the majority of Americans, according to most pollls.  I think she was a miserable sec of state.  What accomplishments has she done during her political tenure?  Why is it you think she is qualified?

And I will argue all day long about Trump being extremely more qualified to LEAD, than Hillary.  It isn't even close.

I think most people who declare bankruptcy are lying crooks.

I don't like it, but it is the law.  What are you trying to get at?

I'm not saying I think bankruptcy is the best thing ever, but it is important enough to be a law for several years now.
