Kooks is notorious for many things, and among them is driving this "frenzy mentality", which is the root cause for the implosion of several forums and web sites that she has been a member of. Oh, sure one can look up the court records for those forums that were closed due to legal issues, but what you won't see within those records is any mention of what drove that particular forum toward the mentality that allowed the legal situation to come to pass in the first place. And that was the "frenzy mentality" that kooks nurtures and drives with her insane postings and conjecture.

Those of you that have had the great misfortune of posting with her are already suffering from it; among its symptoms are the fact that you cannot derive any level of satisfaction from the activity unless you are tacking someone's hide to the proverbial wall via prose. The environment you have been subjected to while posting with kooks, is to blame for this.

Her antics force individuals to revert to name-calling and use of profanity; out of nothing more than the sheer frustration her drunken ramblings and outrageous allegations drive. And if you go through it long enough, you will begin to see the patterns.

At first it is just a couple of screen names she perceives as being weak, and prime targets for her evil agenda. Typically she will ride these individuals like a rented mule, causing discourse amongst the membership and forcing an increasing number to choose sides. Inevitably some will choose her view, as the lever she uses initially are inflammatory topics that by their very nature, are divisive amongst the general population. (This way she is all but assured to obtain some level of support for her view(s).

Then she will create multiple ID's with which to move the discourse along, even going to the level of posting against herself just to keep the arguments going and the discourse growing.

Eventually, most people begin to notice her lies and some begin calling her out on them. She takes full advantage of this by twisting and turning viewpoints and statements, including semantics, just to keep as many people agitated as she can and to extend the length and voracity of the situation.

By the time the majority begin to realize she is doing all of this on purpose, most of the members have been posting from an offensive position for so long, they no longer can take much pleasure from posting in a normal manner. She has conditioned you via endless repetition to post from an inflammatory view; and usually it has been for so long that a lot of people forget how to have a normal dialog about life and its own challenges.

It is at this exact point wherein the legal issues have reared their heads within a few forums in the past. Some of those very forums were great places to find out information, or learn about something you are curious about, or to just pass the time engaging in benign gossip about famous people or the like. But then kooks showed up and ran her game on the place and its membership, and made the job of administering the place 100 times more difficult than the owner(s) were prepared to deal with.

In some cases, the forum was allowed to maintain operating at staffing levels that made it all but impossible for the moderator(s) to deal with. Combine that with operating system limitations and eventually someone posted something that was legally actionable, and the unwitting owner(s) were caught in the middle of things. Those owners chose to close down rather than continue to deal with such shenanigans and liabilities.

Many more chose to take a proactive approach and learn from the mistakes of those defunct entities that were victimized by her evil agenda. That is when the banning began for kooks; and she went thermonuclear over it.

My former forum was one of those taking the proactive approach, and I can tell you from personal and first hand experience, that the blitzkrieg of e-mails and messages that come from her when she gets her grandma panties in a twist would make the propagandists of Adolph Hitler proud. And she will e-mail everybody in the administration; relentlessly. And heaven forbid she be given someone's telephone number.

I was one of the lucky ones in that I counted among my friends at the time a handful of individuals with a much higher understanding of how to deal with such situations and individuals. I got help when it was needed most, thanks to them. And eventually, after careful consideration surrounding the time it was taking from my real life, to deal with a forum that started as a hobby and a way to exchange ideas and ideals with others across the country, I decided to hand the operation of that forum over to those who were better prepared to provide it the commitment it required. And I remained a member until it was shuttered for awhile.

I post all of this because I was once victimized by kooks evil agenda. I was addicted to the "frenzy mentality" and it was handing some measure of control of MY life over to kooks. I never realized it until I became a member here and at first did not get the same level of satisfaction I thought I was getting at the other places. The places where I had to do battle with kooks every day.

After a period of downtime, away from all forums, and a long period of self-reflection, I discovered the addiction that she had imposed upon me. And it was at that point I made the decision to call her out on her evil agenda wherever I encountered her.

Mind you, it took me awhile to move beyond it, but thankfully I found the good folks in this place engaging, challenging, and more than up to the task of helping me back to a state of reality. And along the way I made some damn fine friends too. Mind you, not all of them are individuals that I have met in real life either; at least two of them I have never laid eyes upon. But they are individuals I have come to trust and am proud to count among my friends.

If kooks is allowed to remain active within that other place, then the clock is ticking on its eventual implosion. You can take that to the bank. It may be next week, next month, or the next decade, but the unhealthy environment she is being allowed to nurture over there will be its end.

So if you are finding this forum somehow unfulfilling, I can understand where you are at. It is normal. But I encourage you to stay the course and give it some time. "Frenzy mentality" is addictive as heroin, and just as destructive.

In this place you can and will find your way back to normalcy, but like anything worth having it will take some measure of work on your part. Post topics about things you enjoy, or vacations you've taken, or want to take. Start a word story, or other game. Browse around and find something you have an opinion on and then post it. Odds are you will find others here that agree with your perspectives, as well as those that hold opposing views. If you come with an expectation of learning something, each and every time you come here, you will find that within a short period of time you will be learning something every day. It may not always be something you agree with, but some of the best arguments are built by first understanding the opposing view as much as you can.

Just give yourself some time to acclimate and get rid of the addiction kooks has forced upon you!

BOOM!  there you have it!  Folks, this guy usually nails it, spot on.  Though I don't always agree with him politically, he usually has wise answers...and right here, he is offering great advice.

I want to thank everyone for being so nice on here. Sure, I probably will piss some of you off from time to time but it is nice to have conversations where we may not agree on everything but still can get along!!!! It is hard to be that with Kooks being the ignoramus that she is!!! Lol!!!
