Sarah Palin
Yes, I could see this one from Alaska. I'm usually not one to Told-Ya-So, but I did, despite my accurate prediction being derided as "an extremely far-fetched scenario" by the "high-brow" Foreign Policy magazine. Here's what this "stupid" "insipid woman" predicted back in 2008: "After the Russian Army invaded the nation of Georgia, Senator Obama's reaction was one of indecision and moral equivalence, the kind of response that would only encourage Russia's Putin to invade Ukraine next."

Any soccer mom (Palin) with half a brain could have predicted that invasion, or any other by Russia, it's what they do from time to time.  Palin was no great seer of the future, she just made a comment based on past actions of Russia.  Anyone could have done that.

But they don't get made fun of and called vile names for doing it.  ;)

No, she has been vilified for being of a different opinion and party than the chosen ones.  That's what they do to anyone who differs from them because they can't discuss issues.  Start paying attention and you will find issues are rarely discussed by dems they just start tearing down the person if they are a perceived threat.

You really think Sarah Palin discusses issues?

I do remember Obama telling Medvedev..."I'll give you more flexibility after the election."  It seems as if that statement came trut too.   ;)

To Henry and me, she's a really smart woman.  She even wrote a book!

Just out of curiosity, how did the then president of the U.S. respond to that invasion?

Even tho most of the pages had been colored on.  :haha:

It appears that Putin is in the midst of reassembling the USSR.  First he took Georgia...now the Ukraine.  am I wrong?  What should Obama be doing about this?  Or should he do anything?

Curious...

I have my thoughts, just wondering about your guys thoughts.

When you stop using Bush to defend Obama screw ups and start discussing the issues at hand then you may have something worth contributing.  Bush is no longer in office.  Remember?

When the effects of Bush's presidency are no longer with us, we'll stop bringing him up, ok?  What do you and Palin (see you next Tuesday) think Obama should do that he isn't?  Start WWIII?

Bush has been out of office for 6 years now and what is going on with Putin has nothing to do with him.  Sorry but it's all on Obama's head now.
