I have survived the holidays, the snowstorm, and I am having a day alone at home.  With luck tomorrow will be even less eventful.  No 1 son started at Purdue yesterday, and has classes each day.  I have tomorrow off as well, so I am looking forward to a little TV time.  Today I had the pleasure of replacing the T&P valve on the water heater, but that only took a few minutes after going to town to procure a replacement valve.  Had I not walked past the water heater to replace the furnace filter, I would not have noticed the drip.  Timing IS everything!

I hope everyone had a good holiday season, and has a great 2014!

Son of a...............................................................................

I have had enough of winter.  I have had the drive plowed out for the 4th time as of last week.  That last time was in preparation of the coming thaw.  Otherwise I would have had slush about 6 to 8 inches deep in the drive, which would have been hard to navigate in anything other than a 4X4.  Yesterday was damn nice though.  The drive had finally melted off enough to rearrange some vehicles, mainly my trailer with Mike's Galaxie on it.

And speaking of his Galaxie, he did some more painting on it, adding Kandy panels over the original mint green.  It was a big hit at the Motorama this year.
