The wind is howling, I keep hearing this rumbling noise that isn't thunder off in the distance. . . Our lights are flickering and the rain is coming down sideways from the south. . .

My wife and I had a couple of errands to run, so once it was clear the worst was over for us here, we went out to do them and have a little look around to see if there was any damage.

A lot of limbs and sticks down, as usual, but outside of that we saw nothing in the small area we covered while out. Just a few items blown around like yard toys and decorations. . .

At least one local television station believes that among the hardest hit counties in central Indiana, during the current snow storm, will be Madison County Indiana. 

They are setting up a satellite truck here in town to monitor the situation and provide a live feed surrounding conditions here. 

Please exercise good judgement in going outdoors. Stay off the roads unless you are encountering an extreme emergency; and even then, notify emergency services in order to obtain assistance rather than getting in your vehicle and driving to the hospital, etc.

Just came in from my first round of snow removal from the driveway due to this storm. We've got a good 10 inches already on the ground, and it is snowing still!

Madison Co is now under a snow emergency..............

I have a broken tree limb laying on my power line going to my house........as of now, I have power.  If it gets heavier or I fear when the wind kicks up.....I am going to be in trouble. 

On the bright side, I have all my kids here, and we are on the cusps of frying some chicken and watching a movie........as long as the limb and mother nature cooperate.
