Don't you hate it when you write or say something that falls into the category of "I don't think you heard/read what I thought I said/wrote"? When that happens to me, the more I try to back out, the deeper the hole I've dug for myself gets.  :dig:  :cry:

I started to post this in PH's thread about Indiana's water pollution problem, but didn't want to distract from the very serious topic, so ...

This is a movie review blurb from today's Washington Post, also about Indiana:

I heard about that one.  Personally, I am NOT a fan of those type of reality shows.  I like some of the shows that take place in Alaska, because I love everything about that state.  But Duck Dynasty and Honey Boo Boo....well I would rather watch paint dry.  I think this new one will fall into that category.

I haven't watched either one, but do want to watch the Indiana one tonight because you guys live there, and because I've always had the idea that at least parts of Indiana would be an idyllic place to live.

If you get PBS, look for Doc Martin. I get the 1 1/2 hour long program here on Thursday and Saturday nights.  One of my sisters and her husband recommended it, and to tell the truth, we don't have a lot of common interests in reading/TV, etc., so that was not the reason I  began watching it a few weeks ago. I was looking for something interesting to watch while doing the WP crossword puzzle, and there it was, so decided to check it out -- and was hooked. It is absolutely delightful. I won't give anything away by saying Doc Martin practices medicine in what seems to be a village somewhere in the British Isles.
