My current project...not for the faint of heart.

Arguing with Christians is like playing chess with a pigeon.  No matter how good I am at chess, the pigeon is just going to knock over the pieces, shit on the board and strut around like it's victorious.

The truth is slow, but relentless. Over time it becomes irresistible.

Nice looking dog but there's something I'm seeing in his eyes that I can't quite put my finger on.  The only way I can explain it is a person has to earn their trust with him.

He is a police dog in every sense of the word but not a dog that, as a handler, one would feel comfortable walking into a classroom to let kids hug on...just not that kind of dog.

Oh, and he's not yet 9 months old in this picture...he reaches that benchmark this Saturday.

Is that your dog or are you just training it for someone else?

He's mine.

So you still have your other dog too?

I have a question for you.  Do you have a recommendation for a trainer that could work with my kids and our dog?  My dog listens to me very well (for the most part). But my kids, he really tests them.  It is hard for my youngest son to take him for a walk, without being jerked around.  I am worried he may end up hurting my son sometime. He is a really strong dog. A sweet dog, but has a lot of energy.  I thought, this summer when school is out, I would love for my kids to have someone help them get more control on him.  Any thoughts?

No, I sent him down to a friend of mine in Kentucky.  Long story...

Anything you do with your dog is good for him!

I learned something about Bruce today and would like to add a word of caution...enroll your dog in obedience classes with First Friends, go there with your dog, handle your own dog or have your kids handle the dog.  Do not under any circumstances ever leave your dog there with them for them to train or board your dog.  There are many trainers there and they are good with puppies and pet dogs and I still believe that they can help you but it's your dog and it is your responsibility to be there and see everything that is being done with your dog and to keep your dog safe.  Got it?

Black dogs should be banned , or at least a special permit .  Why do you need a dog with so many teeth, ten teeth are enough.  If he mauls a child what then? You are not concerned with the great good, shame on you. A small little mut dog is all you really need.

I absolutely can't wait until Ex sees that.  ;D

Maybe Ex will understand a little better how it feels when he puts down our kids and says such spiteful things toward/about them.  There may not be the extra thing of a blood connection there but the connection is still strong.
