1. When you can't see the obvious - and very learnable - things I pointed out in my OP, I don't think those who actually educate themselves are going to take the idea that you have any 'common sense' seriously.

2. Why is it y'all seem to repeatedly find the truth insulting?  Maybe if y'all wouldn't be so lazy and educate yourselves, you wouldn't be so insulted when you're called on your ignorance and BS.

Maybe when you quit using the word "y'all", I will take you more seriously.

He's trying to put it in a vernacular y'all might understand.

I said "maybe".

"Maybe" implies a level of possibility of something taking place. I am pointing out the fallacy in that statement. There isn't an ice-cube's chance in your Hell of such a thing occurring.

At one time I did, but when the obnoxious attitudes began to flow, along with name-calling and third grade antics....I decided I no longer gave a rats ass and played along with the rest.

Thank you for validating my point.

I never tried to unvalidated it.  It is what it is.  NOBODY on here is serious about any discussions.  It is third grade BS.  There other forums where intelligent folks carry opn intelligent discussions.  This is not one of them.  This is like Cheers.  A bar with regulars who come in an become satarical.

Discussions about what?  Physics?  Neuroscience?  I'm guessing you won't want to discuss either of those things because, well, you'd probably be the first to admit that you have no experience or education in those subjects.  Ironically, things like business and economics are also subjects in which you have neither experience nor education but you magically deem yourself qualified to discuss them.  It's pointless trying to hold a discussion with someone who isn't aware of his/her own ignorance of the subject.

I'm sorry that has been your experience here , but conversation and dialog are a lot like relationships; it takes an effort from both sides to make it work. And if your contributions are destructive in nature you should not be surprised with a destructive outcome. Moreover, if you are overtly aggressive in your approach you shouldn't be surprised by the same type of response.

I suspect your experience is quite like the multitude of marriages that end in dissolution; most often due to unreasonable expectations and inflexibility toward compromise. As well as a liberal level of tyrannical behavior.

Well, I see the government won't shut down now until September 1. They passed another contining resolution to run it until then, and it is a whole week until the 'deadline'.

All I know is, I have been married to one woman for thirty years.....I think I am extremely reasonable and flexible toward compromise...always have been.  My behavior has only matched up with my opponent.  When shit is thrown my way, I throw it back.
