I've been over it as far as congress is concerned. I was over it in August of 2011 when they passed that fuggin bullshit sequestration legislation, called it a POS then, and said this was going to happen then. I am not surprised in the least at the status of this country.

These men and women in congress couldn't agree on toast or biscuits for breakfast, much less something like this. Half of them are in the pocket of corporate Amerika and the other half are wanting a lynching party in Washington. Both are some of the most selfish and self serving bitches and bastards to ever hold the office in the history of this nation; as is evident by their historical record of hemming, hawing, holding the least amongst us hostage to their political ideals, and saying no even when it is their own fricking suggestions put in front of them.

The POTUS cares, but you can bet your sweet ass the overwhelming majority of congress cares nothing but for themselves. Period.

If they truly were looking to motivate themselves to get something done about this shit, they'd have voted the cuts to include their own salaries and benefits. THAT might motivate their lazy asses.

I believe they did put the skids on the reaise Obama was going to give them.  Guess he'd better stay in DC instead of running all over the country giving stump speaches and playing golf for a while huh?
