Exterminator

E: Never say "I've got a gun." If you need to use deadly force, the first sound they hear should be the safety clicking off.

Sigs don't have a safety.
Arguing with Christians is like playing chess with a pigeon.  No matter how good I am at chess, the pigeon is just going to knock over the pieces, shit on the board and strut around like it's victorious.

The truth is slow, but relentless. Over time it becomes irresistible.

I've heard that the best safety is experience.
Ignorance and fanaticism are ravenous. They require constant feeding.

Have a concealed-carry permit and have been an instructor.

Spent a bit of time as a police officer and a corrections officer.

Don't agree with your "C," but you're entitled to your opinion.

Have heard most of your homilies before, but they are always amusing.

I only posted for amusement. I guess "C" would pertain who or whom the cop was. I have never had the experience of bein' a police officer or correction officer and never aspired to be, seems to be a thankless job.

Best regards,
Duke (ain't no John Wayne but will pack if necessary) Jupiter

Along with discretion.

Like all groups, the ranks of officers contain the whole spectrum of human beings.

In general, I was amazed at the dedication, patience, and restraint the vast majority of officers displayed on a daily basis.

If you become an officer to be thanked, you will be sorely disappointed.

Most are just working people going to their jobs daily.

Patience and restraint would be my downfall.

Police have no restraint today, they will spray, you taze you, shoot you  with little thought.

Absolutely.

I, for instance, was a paid assassin.

Still am.

I am dangerous only to lemon meringue pie.

And, my wife says, to anyone who feeds me too many beans and too much beer.
