Yep, now we're trillions in debt instead of billions, no budget, rising prices, lower property values, a high unemployment rate which doesn't include people who are underemployed or have quit looking, lowered credit rating for the first time in history, and after 5yrs it's only getting worse.  If you call that digging out I'd hate to see your finances as they really must be instead of how you say/think they are.
