The reaper found him. He hasn't quite made his quota of celebrities and musicians this year and he has until midnight on the 31st to do so, lest he be forced to use that same damn suit for another year. . .  :reap: :devil29:

2016 absolutely sucked.  It took a lot of talent from the world and left us with Donald Trump.

George Michael, singer harvested at 53

He's finally joined his career.    :icon_twisted:

Pretty much saw that one coming when they said she was on a ventilator.  Her brain was probably too oxygen deprived while she was in cardiac arrest.

Yep.
2016 has sucked in celebrity deaths except for a few who were a waste on society.

Carrie Fisher may be in this thread before the year ends. She reportedly had a "massive heart attack" on board an airplane during an international flight from London to LA. . .  :spooked:

Soon we will mark the 4th Anniversary of the beginning of this topic here at the Unknown Zone, and we are up to 74 pages at this time. (I suspect it will be 75 by the time January 1st arrives).

The first official death reported herein was of Patty Page on January 2, 2013, by Henry Hawk. This thread replaced the "Dead" topic at the end of 2012, and along the way a whole lot of notable individuals passings were reported herein; among them one of our own.

On 4/17/2013, shortly after a visit to this place, our dear friend followsthewolf crossed over and his death was reported herein, although it was several weeks before it was confirmed:

"followsthewolf"  :reap: HARVESTED :reap: @ 66.

:'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'(

This marks the very first of our Unknown Zone Family to be posted herein, and I am extremely heartbroken to post this, but at the same time honored to be the one doing it.

FTW came to be as a brother to me in this place. His behind the scenes words of encouragement to me within private messages during my recent health crises helped me beyond measure, and as usual helped to put things into perspective for me.

He has already been missed by several of us here, even before this news came to light.  :'( :'( :'( :'(

And to those who may look upon this listing as inappropriate I will say this upfront; FTW is smiling right now over this post. I dare say I think he would expect it, and "it is what it is".

Miss you brother!  :'( :'( :'( :'(

A "milestone" most of us here would have rather have not marked so quickly.  Just days before his death he remarked on the death of Annette Funicello, and a members commentary about all of the "male seed spilt" over her:

Ah, yes.

Male adolescence.

And all of this happening just within the 1st 4 months of this threads start.

I have considered asking the administration to end this topic however, given what transpired the last time I did that nearly 4 years ago I believe I will just let it ride another year or three.

Call me superstitious because I am in some things. Just like sports figures forego shaving, or wear the same socks without washing them, I too have my own superstitions of sorts. Most of them involve not wanting to tempt fate or awaken a sleeping dog. This one is of the former. . .

I'm sure that as he checks in on this place from time to time from the ether, followsthewolf is having a good laugh or two over us and our humanity; over our idiotic beliefs and habits, our silly superstitions, and most of all our unrealistic beliefs and expectations surrounding this life and what is next for each one of us.

We each have our own suspicions, traditions, and expectations surrounding it, just as we do in life. The difference is that he now knows and we do not. . . Yet. . . Tick. . .Tock. . .Tick. . .Tock. . .  :HNY: :mooning:
