Yeah. After John Henry Bonham, he's one sitting behind the skins in my fantasy band.  I expect he and Mr Bonham will be responsible for some hellacious thunder rolling in the coming seasons. In fact, I suspect Mr Bonham was doing just that this week around these parts. Neil died Tuesday but the News didn't break until yesterday.  I think Bonham was welcoming him to the new band, and telling his fans of Neils passing in his own way.

He had been battling brain cancer the last 3 years, and finally succumbed; without anyone knowing anything about it, nor his death until days later. An intellectual lyricist, he wrote most of The Rush songs we all know and love, and had written 6 or 7 non fiction books along the way as well.

He valued his privacy and did so to the very last.

He is missed already.

  Well another cop killed an unarmed, handcuffed, on his face, with two cops on his back, black guy.  With his knee buried in his neck for over seven minutes.   :rant:
