Magistrate

I will use this thread to post pictures from the church where I work.

Here are some pics of one of the nurseries at my church that I upgraded this week. Sunny had asked for pics of the project, so I was happy to oblige her!

Luckily, the wallpaper was in good shape and they didn't want it replaced. All I had to do was to add the cabinets and counter. What do you think Sunny?

Here are a couple of shots of my new (to me) work truck. It is in good shape and will serve the needs of the church quite well. I have already had to use the salt spreader once, but haven't had a need to used the blade yet.  It's an F-350 with a 460 V8. I doubt it will have any trouble pushing snow! Arggggg Arggggg Argggg (in the best Tim Taylor impression!) ROFL! You can see the church in the background as well as the bus for the school attached to our church.

Nice remodeling and sweeeet truck, Magistrate.

Thanks FTW! The ladies that work in the nursery were very pleased. Have a great weekend! I've got a couple of friends coming over in the morning to help me on the house. I hope we can get most of the ceiling finished tomorrow! I need that done so I can finish the wood ceiling and walls. Once I have the sealer on the wood, I can do the rock and sheetrock work without fear of getting sheetrock dust embedded in the wood. I'll try to get an update after tomorrow's work is done.

Know what you mean.

One of my retirement jobs has been maintenance for the University of Pittsburgh at the Pymatuning Lab of Ecology.

Three of us built a three bedroom house for professor housing.

Took us four and a half months from ground clearing to landscaping, complete with two decks.

Then the professor hired me to assist him in his research project. My degrees were in the humanities, but he hired me for pure scientific research, anyway. Interesting work.

I love it too Magistrate. I can just see the happy babies in that room. It's so bright and cheerful. The truck is nice too and I think you'll be just fine shoving the snow around in it...making your Tim the Toolman noises. LOL

I'm with Mojo on this one...very nice job, Magistrate! And very thoughtful of you to oblige us "visual" folks with photos! We will keep enjoying them as long as you're willing to post them. Looks like things are going well for you in this new capacity. YEAH!!!

Red Haired Girl

Well, Sunny, Magistrate truly understands the needs of the visual, being as how he is married to a strong one! LOL... so.... he got me a new digital camera for Christmas, and he "adopted" the older one... and he is enjoying it.  Just wait till you see some of the pics from the house today! LOL....

Nice job. And the truck looks like it can handle a blizzard. Which hopefully we'll be spared this winter. :)

Magistrate

Thanks tootallannie. I expect this winter to be rather mild, since I am fully prepared for the worst! LOL
