Texas Voter ID Law Struck Down

They are $25.00 and are good for four years.

Also are ID's required for most things, welfare, food stamps, banking, library card, alcohol and cigarettes, there too? 

Can't speak to welfare and food stamps; I don't receive either.  They stopped carding me for alcohol a long time ago.     Yes for banking, no for library card (at least not in Broward county where I live).

I don't think that is too much to ask, to assure a little integrity of one of the most sacred events US Citizens have the priviledge to do.

I'm not sure what's going to be required going forward as there are challenges to the Florida voter ID law as well.   I'm even seeing some websites reporting that the Florida law fell right along with the Texas law, but I'm having a hard time confirming that.

  The only reason the Hawk and "ME" wants a voter ID is they got one and they want to stifle the vote.  They are not for freedom, but if they can stop the people of color from voting they can win every election.

If someone is "dirt poor" they aren't going to have a TV so in all probability aren't going to vote anyway because they won't know anything about the candidates and will have no way to the polls.  If they have a TV and are poor they are getting assistance and an ID is needed for that so this outcry from the left is all a bunch of BS.

If someone is "dirt poor" they aren't going to have a TV so in all probability aren't going to vote anyway because they won't know anything about the candidates and will have no way to the polls.  If they have a TV and are poor they are getting assistance and an ID is needed for that so this outcry from the left is all a bunch of BS. 

I can see why the courts stopped the Voter ID program in Texas.  Just look how they run their schools.

Only problem with that is it's mostly democratic and I know how that would go over no matter what kind of evidence I posted so I'm not going to bother.  Now you can take that anyway you wish, and I know how you'll take it, but that's the reality of it and why they don't want voter ID.  It stacks the odds on their side because of the likely hood of illegals being able to vote since they don't have to have an ID.  Has nothing to do with the blacks that's a smoke screen and no, I didn't hear that on Fox.
