Guess there's gonna be a lot of people who won't be getting welfare or be able to cash their monthly checks, since they evidently don't have bank accounts or they'd already have ID's, be able to buy smokes, or be able to purchase alcohol.  Damn shame huh?   There is no way that is racial discrimination that is the dumbest thing I've heard, well close to the dumbest.  That racial thing is getting waaaaaaaaaay too over used.

"Federal judges subverted the will of the people of Texas and undermined our effort to ensure fair and accurate elections. The Obama administration's claim that it's a burden to present a photo ID to vote simply defies common sense. I will continue to work with Attorney General Abbott to fight for the same right that other states already have to protect their elections."

The Texas law said those who are 65 or older, disabled or expect to be absent on Election Day may vote by mail without presenting identification.

A fallacy?  How is what I said about needing pic ID's for other things a fallacy?  I just don't understand why you think that poses an unnecessary burden on anyone to have an ID.  You have to have one to get welfare, food stamps, and handouts plus proof or residence so what's the problem?  Are the people who don't have the ID's not getting that help?  If that is the case then it would be helping them because they could then get that help plus they would then have one of those free phones so they could communicate with people.

what does being poor have to do with getting proper ID.  They are free.
