And you vote 100% Tea/Republican.  Let us see how you have voted.  Twice for  George W. Bush and once for John McCain and Sarah Palin and who are you going to vote for now.  Pence, Murdoch, Romney/Ryan.  What a wonder record for voting for trash.  "ME" :no1:    :haha:   :haha:   Carrot Top.
Notice where I fall with the Indiana and all American voters who took the test though......Nuf said?  Make ya do a little thinkin' does it?  Na, that would be too much to hope for.

I side with Barack Obama on most issues in the 2012 Presidential Election.

I voted for Perot too.

I liked him......he was a little on the goofy side, had a great sense of humor and was hard to disagree with his logic on issues.

And he was right about the giant sucking sound.  ;D

And he was right about the giant sucking sound.  ;D

And I have had occasion over the past 5 years to be haunted by that fact. I hear that statement, which I heard/viewed on live television, each and every time I read statistics surrounding job losses, unemployment, etc. The sound of his voice making that statement echoes through my mind as it has countless times since he first said it.

The singular fact that I voted for him, despite my fear he was right and that we needed to take the hit up front, and do the right things, gives me some measure of solace all these years later. But it is a panacea at best, when I reflect on the fact that not only was he right, but we are living the reality of his warning this very day.

Hindsight is 20/20.  The reason I liked Perot was because he looked at everything the same way those of us in IT do, as projects that can be broken out into logical units of work.  Unlike someone like Romney, who was born privileged and made his money by destroying companies, Perot was a real businessman who built not one but two very successful companies from the ground up...companies that still employ nearly 160,000 people today.  He knew how to make things work and how to create jobs and he would have turned our federal government into an efficient business.

He would have had to get the cooperation of congress first for most of it though and that may have been a huge stumbling block for some of his ideas.  I think the way he presented himself he, in all probability, would have worked around all that happy crap.  The main thing I liked about him, and I hope I'm remembering this correctly, is that he answered questions without all the BS and double talk of a politician and didn't mince words.

Yes, I heard Perot say that statement on television.  I was so sick when George H. Bush dreamed up the NAFTA.  When he got the President of Mexico and the Prime Minster Canada to agree to that one sided, unfair "Free Trade Treaty" NAFTA.  The only people who made out on this fair trade treaty was the super rich, corporations, Mitt Romney, Mexico and Canada.  Then George W. Bush passed WTO.  The American middle class and the worker of America were hurt beyond belief.  We are in the shape we are because the Republican Party and its cooperation with the rich and the corporations.

But that little man with the big ears said it all. "If they sign that NAFTA agreement, you will hear a giant suck sound of jobs leaving America for Mexico".

I never thought American could go down so far and so fast as in 8 years of George W. Bush.  But after much research, this all started with Ronald Reagan, Newt Gingrich's Contract For America.  People should read Newt's Contract for America and you will see how it has come true under the actions of the Republican Party.

America will never recover from George H. Bush and sonny boy George W's unfair, fast track free trade treaties are voided.  As trade should be continued, new trade treaties should be negotiated by the American Union leaders.  You have seen how the Republican negotiators failed at getting a fair and honest deal for America and it people.

Why did the Republicans get so many bad trade deals?  Because they are in the pocket of the rich and the corporations.  You see it today and every day.  Billionaires putting in Millions and Millions of dollars in the Republican election coffers.  The old Republican golden rule.  He who has the gold rules.
