For those of you up north who went through last month's derecho, the National Storm Prediction Center has issued the following map showing the possibility of another derecho today.  Stay safe my friends.  This map is valid from 1200GMT today to 1200GMT tomorrow.  In Eastern time, that's 8:00 AM today to 8:00 AM tomorrow.

That derecho laden line of cells skipped over Indiana like a rock over a pond for the most part. The folks down south and in northern Indiana got a little rain, but that system basically evaporated only to reform once it crossed the eastern state line with Ohio.

Yes we need some rain.  It is so dry around this county that the farmers are bailing their soy beans.      No soy bean this year.     That should drive up the price, just like corn and tomatoes.    :(

No, no, no.  It's the Republican's fault.  They say no to everything, including rain.
