I was watching the MASH special on TVLand...they was talking how there was 33,000 americans killed during the 3-year conflict in Korea.....

This war with Iraq, we have lost 3,000...and that is enough to blow me away....then you just think about 33,000 it about the same time frame.....that is totaly mind boggling.....

I guess I knew the statistics before, but it just really hit me tonight as I was thinking about it....

Not really trying to start anything other than just something to think about..that's it....

Not to offend patriots, but I don't wanna think about it. I think like a mother, the possibility of over 30,000 mothers out there grieving their children is something that hurts my emapthic heart too much.  Then to turn around and imagine another possible 3,000 mothers now...not to mention the mothers from WWI and WWWII and all the other wars ever fought.

Nope, sorry CWM,  don't wanna think about it, and I won't.  dang, now the tears are starting. :(
Looks like I've come full circle.

We did.

Now they are.

But, sometimes, I wonder.
