MANHUNT - 32 Shut Down

I was out riding in that area a few days before he was found.  I took 600 West all the way from old IN 132, up to Frankton.  I definitely remember smelling some kind of decomp near that location, as it was a tad different than the normal dead animal.  I never gave it a thought that it might be human, and almost a half mile away!  I kind of freaked out when this hit the news.

Yup. Once you smell human decomp it isn't hard to recognize it again. It is indeed different than a dead animal.
