That's a picture the HB ran stating "investigators come out of a field in the 6400 block of West 100 South with the body of a partially decomposed male Sunday afternoon that the Sheriff's Department believes could be the remains of Roy L. Parmley."

I'm skeptical that it is him. If it were, and he had grown the stones to whack himself, he'd have been human soup after 2 months in the oven this place has been. And blown with flies, maggots, bugs, etc.
They should have had to scoop his ass up. Unless, if it is him, somebody whacked him recently.

That location is between Anderson and Lapel, and is rural.

They're using dental records, but Parmley had dentures and did not wear them.

So it'll be DNA, and that will take a week or two. . .

Dude, I've been around several long term dead bodies, and there is no way in hell that body was long term. It stinks to high heaven and it is a "sweet" smell of corruption. Once you smell human decomposition you will never mistake it for anything else. Those dead possums and raccoons cannot hold a candle to the stench of decaying human flesh. . .

2 deer hunters setting game cameras along the fence row found the body. . . And if it is indeed him, they found his rotting corpse 59 days after he committed the crime.

Word today from the APD and MCS says that the body they found was dressed as was described to the authorities by the surviving victim, it had two shotguns and a handgun with it, wore a beaded bracelet on the left hand as Parmley was said to, and had on the black boots he wore, as well as hair pulled back into a pony-tail that was graying.

They are stating that they will be shocked if it is not him. Autopsy was performed at Ball Memorial Hospital yesterday, and samples sent to the state lab for DNA analysis, which could take several weeks.

Body was found within a cavity of a tree that had split into several sections, and was in an out of the way location.

Well at least it's looking like it's going to turn out to be him.   He's no longer a danger to the community and there won't be an expensive and protracted trial.

DNA confirms the rotting corpse removed from the field is indeed the remains of Parmley.

He's dead, apparently by his own hand. . .
