I enjoy being retired and being a stay at home mom! I have found that working was nothing and is nothing compared to working as a mom! LOL!!! :)

Passed the Flying Eagles motorcycle group on their Wounded Warrior ride earlier and it was heart warming to see all those beautiful bikes and bikers riding for such a good cause.

I love my dog!!!  He made me laugh so much last night.  He just really wanted my attention and he got it.  He was in a crazy mood. As normal we played with a toy of his.  I would throw it, and he would bring it back, lay it right next to me...... but then dared me to get before he could.  The expressions on his face made me laugh so hard I was crying.   He had total concentration.  You probably had to be there to get the full impact of my story....

Normally, he lays next to me on the floor when we watch TV....But, last night, he insisted to lay on the couch with me.  Actually, ON ME. (He weighs around 70 lbs. )  If I got up, he would bark until I came back....THEN he would be fine. 

I took him out for his last potty break of the night, and he insisted we sit on our porch swing.  Usually, he is ready to come back in. So, we did.  It was hot and muggy, but he was making it all worth while.

This dog has so much personality, he really is one of my best friends.  :yes:

This happened to an Englishman in France who was totally drunk.
The French policeman stops his car and asks the gentleman if he has been drinking. With great difficulty, the Englishman admits that he has been drinking all day, that his daughter got married in the morning to a French man, and that he drank champagne and a few bottles of wine at the reception and a quite few glasses of single malt there after.
Quite upset, the policeman proceeds to alcotest (breath test) him and asks the Englishman if he knows under French Law why he is going to be arrested.
The Englishman answers with humour: No sir, I do not! But while we're asking questions, do you know that this is a British car and my wife is driving... on the other side???

He is a labradoodle.  He is a great dog.  Doesn't shed, easy to train, is extremely lovable.  I was against getting one, but now I am glad we got him.

I saw a bumper sticker on a car this morning that made me smile. Keep in mind that I work near Greenbelt, Maryland and you will know what I mean. It said ...

  :haha:  Shouldn't it read 186,282.307 mps.  I'm quite sure that's what Star Trek's Data would say.   :wink: :smile:
