I feel your pain and sympathize with you.  Due to my age and having gotten rid of all my assets, except my home, I no longer have to do taxes.  This is the first year and it feels strange after over 20 yrs of massive bookwork which I hate but had to do anyway.  Be thankful you don't have to fool with 1099's too.   ;)

I do. And plenty of them. Along with a whole lot of additional bull-shite paperwork and forms that would keep me in asswipe for a year if it were toilet paper.

I absolutely detest tax time, because it ties me to my home desk for a weekend or two of my time every year. And then there's the writing of the checks. . .  :rant:
