i have become that which cloaks me.  (i always have a flashlight, though.)

get another litter box.  worked once with mine, before we had to send her away.

try more than one litter box if you have more than one cat... (our male would smack the smaller female out of the litter box in the middle of her "business" if he felt inclined to do so...)

I have 5 cats and 3 litter boxes. This cat was an abused cat and is kinnda crazy.. when I first got her, she would not use the box so I moved a box to where she wanted it to be,that worked for 2 years. I dont want to put her outside as I live in high traffic area, but I can't have poopie on my floor... sigh

we traded our cat in for a newer less thinking outside the box cat.  it was sad to get rid of her, but there are only so many times you want to find cat sh!t in the clean laundry.
