Happy Thursday buddies!!!!

Where have you been, Sweet Thing.

Da Wham

A drummer, sick of all the drummer jokes, decides to change his instrument. After some thought, he decides on the accordion. So he goes to the music store and says to the owner, "I'd like to look at the accordions, please."

The owner gestures to a shelf in the corner and says "All our accordions are over there."

After browsing, the drummer says, "I think I'd like the big red one in the corner."

The store owner looks at him and says, "You're a drummer, aren't you?"

The drummer, crestfallen, says, "How did you know?"

The store owner says, "That `big red accordion' is the radiator."

Yep, that's one thing about Florida.  Any pond of water could have and alligator in it.

I hope we didn't lose one of my favorites on the Zone.  Pale Horse with his fight with The Hawk.  I would hate to lose Horse.     Other than that.  :nocomment:

Anyone looked at the 1940 census yet?  I've been waiting a few days to let the newness wear off. I asked my friends who are older than me if they were concerned about the information being released and none of them were worried.

Huh,   What could be so new about the 1940 census?  What information, you can tell us we got big shoulders.

It was just released a couple days ago. They are kept for 72 years before being released to the public. There was an article in the paper the ACLU was concerned/objecting because of privacy rights of people who are still live that are listed in the 1940 census. It is a wonderful source of information for geneaology research. It has occupations, money earned in 1939, members of household and their relationship to the head of the house, whether or not they owned a radio, where their parents were born, age when they werre married, current address, amount of education, if they were a veteran and a few other things. It isn't name searchable yet so it is time consuming to find a particular person. I got on Ancestry last night and did a little looking.
