The info I am hearing says Obrien won't be alone. . . In fact, Bird may join him. . .
Now that I can understand.  Hubby and I never did think he was that great.  As a player, yes, he was good but as a coach or in his present capacity, no.

Why doesn't a leprechaun walk through grass?

Because it tickles their Lucky Charms!  :icon_twisted:

Of course, there is the other train of thought on the subject, that says leprechauns are always walking in the grass! Why? Because that is how they do the paperwork after each dump. What do you think makes the grass green?  :spooked: :icon_twisted:

I had the experience of a lifetime this weekend!

Some background as to why it was so very special to me.

1. I was about 9 or 10 years old and getting very interested in music. My mom took me into town so I could spend some of my allowance money on a record. And the very first record I bought for myself was Beethoven's Fifth Symphony. I played that record a gazzillion times and I still have it.

2. My dad once told me that it was his dream to see a live performance by a symphony orchestra. He never made it.

Saturday, I went to the Kennedy to hear the NSO perform Beethoven's 5th!!!!!!!

My tears flowed for almost the entire performance. My dad was with me. In my pocket was a little Bible that he had signed and given to me when I was a kid.

Happy for you and that you got to do something that your dad would have loved, too.

I think you misunderstood. My dad passed away in 2003. That's why I said "he never made it."

But I agree. And I thank you for your sentiments.

I'm glad you got to experience that Olias.  That is a great classical piece and I can't imagine how moving it must have been for you to hear it live and feel the presence of your dad.
