Tho this is not a random comment.

Merry Christmas to everybody in the Zone.  May your new year bring many good surprises and good luck.  May Santa put a little gold and not coal in each and every sock.  MAY YOU LIVE AS LONG AS YOU WANT AND NOT WANT AS LONG AS YOU LIVE.

                                                                            :santa: :hohoho:

If you didn't have so many kids I'd wish coal in your sock.  But I would settle for Rudolph to stick his cold nose up your butt.

I hope Old Scrooge Hawk will open his little leather purse and buy the kid some good junk.  Like a drum set, a bugle, and some other noise makers.  Maybe a Wolf, Pit Bull mixed pup.

Other than that I going to be good to you and your family.  Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays and a Happy New Year to you Henry.  May you have happiness, wealth and health.  Especially health, because without health you have nothing.  :hohoho:  Want a kleenx, cry baby

I instituted a new family rule as of yesterday.  All members of my family MUST watch, in the presence of ME (the father/husband) "It's a wonderful life".  One of the best movies ever made, and is especially significant at this time of the year.  Jimmy Stewart, in my opinion is one of the finest actors to have ever lived.  He portrays George Bailey in a fashion only he can do.  If this movie does not make anyone feel better about themselves, nothing will.

Be sure and watch "Christmas Story" and see the Toll's and FTW's childhood story.  You will see what we grew up to be.

I love that one too, I took my wife and youngest kids to town near cleveland, and visited the house where they filmed it.  It was amazing how run down that neighborhood is.  The house was really cool, and there was a gift shop across the street from there.  Even though it was a bit before my time, there are alot of things in that movie that reminds me of my childhood.

Maybe if my family had thought that a BB gun was an appropriate gift for a girl, then I may feel differently about the movie. ;D

BTW, I never got my train set either. I did however get set after tea set and cute little dolls w/blond hair. I gave them to my male cousins to use for target practice with their BB guns. Sometimes they'd let me shoot and it kept them focused off the poor chickens and ferel cats.

Oh, I have to sisters, had a lot of fun at their expense.  One had a baby buggy, I would get it and run through the house like it  was a race car.  She would screeeeeeam MOM, he's running my buggy.  When she would come in, I would be setting quietly in a chair, just doing nothing.

My youngest sister had a doll that the head would come off.  I would grab the doll and tear off it's head.  Sending my sister running for mom.  By the time mother would get there, the head would be back on in it's bed and I would be setting quietly sitting in a chair.  What fun.  Sisters don't have a sense of humor.      and still don't as women.  Come to think of it no woman has a sense of humor when it comes to men.

Well, good grief, if that's the best ya got, no wonder.

One of my sisters kept throwing a ballpoint pen at me. I kept telling her to stop and she wouldn't, so I picked it up and threw it right back at her. . . and it stuck!

She went squalling to mom with the pen jiggling from her shin. . . I took a good whacking for it, but she didn't do that to me anymore!

See, I think we were a lot alike. I didn't tattle, I got even.  :icon_twisted:

I never minded getting spanked. In fact, I preferred that to "the talking to", because it was short and sweet and soon I was on my way to find someone else to tickoff.
