Consumed two different thanksgiving dinners 4 hours apart and at two different locations yesterday. Struggled through the first round of turkey coma and was able to stay awake. The second one not so much!   :biggrin:

Had a great visit yesterday with the kids and grandkids and now back to normal, what ever that is.  Have some left over pizza from last night and a dab of left overs from Thur and that's gonna be supper tonight...(still ain't cookin')  :no: :biggrin:

I cut all the meat off the ham bone and gave it to the lil puppy yesterday. Now we have a sick puppy today. . . :mad: It's coming out both ends. . . :spooked:

I just cannot ever give my dog any kind of real bones. They make him sick every freaking time!  :rant:

It's so hard when the pets are sick, because they can't tell us what's hurting or what they need. :(

My animals seem to have fared okay w/everything. Benji has learned to like ham and turkey. He wouldn't eat people food until about a year ago and I didn't care, because I'd prefer to just feed him the dog food, but someone always tries. Mojo normally won't eat any meat that has been cooked, but she was scarfing down some ham and turkey as well. She's definitely not a stereotypical finicky cat.

At any rate, give the pup a hug for us. I hope he feels better soon.

Thanks. . . He's finally starting to feel a little better. . . He had a milk bone but really doesn't want anything to eat, and I can understand that. I will feed him EARLY tomorrow.

He's such a good boy though. Never puked or pooped in the house not one single time, and made sure he let us know every time he had to do either.

He's never getting another real bone though. I am not letting him go through that again. . .  :no:

Sick puppy day II ~ The return of the shit weasel!

Pup is still sick and not eating. I even offered him one of his favorites (a hot dog) and he turned it down!  :'(

I got him to eat some plain white rice and a milk bone. He was getting lethargic, and is still. He just ate several cups of rice though so hopefully that will help settle his digestive tract and get him to feeling better. If not, he goes to the vet tomorrow. . .

PH if you have any plain chicken broth on-hand, you can mix that w/the white rice and it should be okay for his stomach. That'll get some vitamins back in his system.
