A statement by President Dwight D. Eisenhower (1953-1961) concerning America's Social Safety Net. The original passage, from a letter Eisenhower wrote to his brother Edgar on November 8, 1954, went as follows :

"Should any political party attempt to abolish social security, unemployment insurance, and eliminate labor laws and farm programs, you would not hear of that party again in our political history. There is a tiny splinter group, of course, that believes you can do these things.
Among them are H. L. Hunt (you possibly know his background), a few other Texas oil millionaires, and an occasional politician or business man from other areas. Their number is negligible and they are stupid."

Do you think that inserting a tap between my eyes, similar to what they use to drain sap from Maple trees, would hurt less that the throbbing pain from all this crud in my sinuses? It might bring relief.

It'd be less painful and more profitable to just tap the trees and get one of them pots for your sinuses! (They work)

  My algery doctor has me on Astelin and Nasonex  When it's really bad I use 2 shots of each 2 times a day.

  When it not to bad I use 2 shots twice a day of just Astelin.

  So far so good, but in the early spring when all of the damn trees are flowering it's hell.  This stuff really helps.
