Oh yes indeed! Only some of our little company preferred Manhattans, whiskey, scotch, tequila, moon shine, torpedo juice, grain alcohol, and herbs with their beer!

I was usually the one making their heads hurt at 0400 every day too!  :icon_twisted:

You guy go all the way up there and spend you time turning all of the stuff into urine.  I know it's enjoyable.  But, when do you have time to fish.

Since you're in a good mood, got a question.

Since Anderson is so lucky to have the Colts, here training and are spending a lot of Anderson's money on them.  What are the Anderson citizens getting out of it.  I don't see anything but a damn  Black hole (a place where things go in and never come out) where you throw money.   A multi-million owner and millionaire players taking average people's money.  Am I right?

Since we do all our business over in Noblesville, it burns my ass that everytime we eat out we have to pay a tax to the Colts.

I think you miss it PH, but what do you think.

The only entity making anything off the Colts being in Anderson, is AU and probably the Colts themselves.
Some folks may be driving up/down here to watch, but they aren't spending any money in town; instead they're spending it on campus and with the vendors. There might be a few that buy gas here, but I doubt even that. Gasoline is higher in Anderson than it is in Indpls!

I don't think very many, if ANY of the players are frequenting the local businesses either. They'd probably rather drive back to Carmel to do their shopping, or have their errand person do it for them, rather than risk running the gauntlet of north side hoodlums. . .

What do you think the locals favorite past time is? Yeah, dats right, drinkin! Eh!

Yeah, we did our share of filtration, but we slaughtered a whole lot of walleye and danced with a few schools of muskie too! And northerns? Yeah, we caught 'em and we ate 'em, and yes, I can fillet out the y bones!

Where ever you are in the US, except those of you in the deep south, look to the north east this evening if the skies are clear, and after dark. . . The northern lights may be providing a show tonight!  8)
