I'm spending the day at a small zoo. I thought it was a farm/petting zoo type thing. Now I'm bummed. :( The wolves, fox, tigers, lynx and bears...don't belong here.

I'm happy to report that I've changed my opinion. :biggrin: All of the animals have been rescued and donated. The artic foxes were rescued from a fur farm. Someone had attempted to make pets out of the Siberian Tiger, Wolves, Bear and Python. The python was shedding it's skin btw and there was enough skin there for a snakeskin blanket! :spooked:

The tiger was rescued during a drug bust. :no:

Being somewhat domesticated, but not quite wild, these animals can't make it on their own. The "pack" animals no longer belong to a pack.

I'm happy this place exists to save these animals from idiots who think they deserve to own one.
