For someone that claims to have been raised by a religious mother...why does he not know that it's 144,000 in the rapture, not 4,000?

I was not even going to go there....   I figured it wouldn't make a tad bit of difference...

Well I've been reading his numbers for quite some time now.....and I was beginning to doubt my own limited knowledge.  I checked it a couple of weeks ago...and confirmed I knew more than I thought I did.   (I always surprise myself when I discover I know something....LOL....such a lot of useless knowledge filed away in my brain. )

well, wolfie... i either:  1.  hit my head off the sink on the way to the floor or 2.  knocked myself out hitting my head on the sink and ended up on the floor.  i'm thinking #1.  can't really remember all the details.

Whatever you were ingesting, I'd suggest that you remain in a prone or seated position until the effect passes the next time you use it.

Have you ever have had a blood glucose test for diabetes.  It's been all over the news about the large number of young coming down with sugar diabetes.

I'm a borderline diabetic and I watch my sugar level very carefully.  So if you don't want to go blind, lose your kidneys or lose your legs and your passing out.  You better check yourself out.

Surly one of your friends has a blood glucose meter they can let you use.  Get a little blood on your finger, put it in the meter, it's so easy.  It should be under 120, 80 to 100 is just great.

I have a friend in her 40's who has heart problems, kidney problems, and eyesight problems because she was diabetic and put off going to the doctor so that is very good advise you just gave Troll.  Low blood sugar can be just as dangerous too.  That runs on mom's side of the family and the symptoms are about the same.

Excellent advice Troll! All of my siblings have diabetes as well as my mother; who has lost a leg and is blind from it, despite doing everything possible to prevent it her whole life.

Thus far I am lucky in that I do not have it, and I am tested for it annually.

I have a fire pit in my backyard and I finally got to christen it last night.

I had old friends, new friends and family all around. We cooked hot dogs and smores over the fire for the kids and babybacks on the grill washed down w/beer and wine.

What an awesome time!

I tried something last year that went over better than the traditional s'mores.  I didn't have any graham crackers or chocolate bars but did have some of those huge chocolate chip cookies and so I used those and the kids loved them and now prefer them over the standard way.  It does work better if the cookies are soft though.  ;)
