Nope not this time.  Actually it should be ok 'cause it's just stuffed cabbage but I couldn't find a recipe without sugar in it or that I wouldn't have to go to the store to get a missing ingredient and the one I have has sauerkraut in it and, although hubby likes it, he didn't think it sounded good with the stuffed cabbage so I just winged it.  At any rate I have them cooking in the slow cooker now and cut up potatoes for enough mashed 'taters to fill us up just in case.  The alternate is a can of roast beef and gravy to make manhattans if we don't like the stuffed cabbage.  :biggrin:

Like I just told someone else.....it's just a random comment....and fleeting thought.

Actually, today, I was setting up my desktop computer with a full version of Windows 7 Ultimate...and I keep the sidebar up, with a slideshow of all the pictures on my computer.   I'm sitting there doing something else and out of the corner of my eye, one of the pics catches my attention.  It's a pic of one of the older girls....meaning it's not 13 or itty bitty.....but I can't tell which one...I open it up...and it's 18....she's taken a picture of herself in her underwear......not just one...but several.  Not inappropriate pictures...but the kind where you can see before of when you are losing weight.    Regardless of the fact that they are not indecent....I don't care to have them flashing across my screen when I'm trying to do other things.   I did tell her to get them all in one spot so I can take them off of my computer and she can have them on her own.  I'm mom.....I don't need to be seeing her before and after pics, any more than she needs to see any that I might have....ya know?   Cutting them up would be figurative, considering that they are digital. LOL

um...back to the stuffed cabbage ;D

How did it turn out? I have a really decent crockpot stuffed cabbage recipe, but I'd have to get it out 'cause I can't remember everything that goes in it. I refused to make it for years b/c it never turned out as good as mom's. I wanna try stuffed peppers next.

They turned out good but next time I'm gonna put a little more cabbage in the bottom of the crock pot and add just a tad more water if I use tomato sauce again instead of tomato juice.  Hubby wants me to try it with Italian sausage next time too.

pffft..I'll not waste good ink and photo paper on that...I just need to get her a usb drive and have her get ALL her pictures off of my desktop.   You have no idea how much space that will free up.
