it seems i forgot the shoes stores and a sports store and a hallmark? store.  the mall keep raising the rent and stores keep leaving.

Is it B.Dalton's?  I heard this morning that Borders is closing all of them.  The article was actually about Laredo, TX who will have zero bookstores in a city of 250,000 once theirs is closed!  I figure it's no big deal...it's not like Texans can read anyway.   :biggrin:

What mall is it?  I seriously doubt anyone is raising their rents in this economic environment.  I'm in the industry and am seeing all sorts of concessions being made to tenants just to keep them in the malls.

The mall ~vxn~ and I are talking about is far from Indiana (and Texas, for that matter). I'll leave it to ~vxn~ as to how precise a geographical reference she wishes to make. I'm very familiar with the location, having spent some time examining some of the flora and fauna of the area.
