So this is Christmas
And what have you done
Another year over
And a new one just begun
And so this is Christmas
I hope you have fun
The near and the dear one
The old and the young

Don't mind is that song is running through my head....

Well, its already snowing in Houston Texas, and my girls are excited!
One of their husbands has never seen snow before, and was disappointed on one of their trips out here last year when we didn't have any or get any while they were here.

Well, yah got some of your own now dude!
Local forecasts predict between 2-5 inches on the ground by the time it is over.  I hope they get 12-18 inches!

I was amused the other day when 21 (did I announce that birthday change back in May?)  Called me the other day from Texas and was telling me that it was snowing. She was MAD...LOL.  She said it's not supposed to snow in Texas and she didn't like it.  Then she sent me a picture of her car in a text message with snow on it.
Looks like I've come full circle.

Ya know....It's funny when ya start collecting stuff ya don't realize how much of it you've accumulated over the years until ya start cleanin' it...... My middle daughter got all my bone china animals when I cleaned the stuff in my curio cabinet...now she can clean 'em...  Now doing tins, covered wagons, figurines that sit out, picture glass, gun racks, swords, guns, and stuff like that.....ugh....Might have to have a biiiiiig yard sale come spring........

Go after midnight when everyone else is in bed.  Of course that pretty well puts you at either Wally world or Meijer's but it beats fightin' a crowd.  Then there's always gift cards, the cash you can spend it anywhere kind.....

Thank goodness for scotch tape.  Just pulled a thousand tiny hair like cactus stickers out of my finger....I really should get rid of that thing....  It was rooting in the plant next to it and the curtain so I had to pull it out....bet I put gloves on next time....  Heck, last winter a piece fell off of it I didn't notice it and it rooted into the carpet under the stand I had it sitting on.  I've had it for years though and I really hate to get rid of it but it's getting out of hand.

Sometimes they are painful lessons too....You'd think I'd know better as long as I've had the darn thing but my mind was elsewhere......obviously.
