I'm probably gonna pass on the shot again this year.  I'm really pushing my luck though 'cause last time I had the flu was '85' and the numbers are working against me I know.  I'm a little leery though 'cause I'm allergic to an ingredient in the serum although I understand there are serums made without it.  With my luck I'd get the wrong one though.   :-\

Are you allergic to eggs?

I would say as long as you aren't traveling, working with children, or in a hospital setting you are probably ok by just washing your hands.

Not eggs its Thimersal I'm allergic to.  I used some contact lens cleaner with that in it once and my eyes swelled shut and hurt for 2 days even though I rinsed the contacts off real good so the nurse I talked to said I shouldn't take the shot.

I'm getting one, or perhaps two, as I do each year. The regular flu shot and the H1N1 version when it is available.

I hope they still serve food.  Can't figure out what to eat and I'm gettin' hungry.  Hubby don't have a clue either but he'll be here with the food when he gets hungry...LOL
