How sad is it that I can't be a salesperson?  I just can't sell anything to anyone unless they already want it.

You can still be a salesperson.  In my experience, about 20% of the people you approach will always say yes whether or not they need what you're selling or can even really afford it.  Likewise, 20% will always say no regardless of how badly they need whatever it is or how cheap.  The other 60% depend on your ability to sell.  Let's assume that you really aren't any good and none of that 60% will buy from you...you still have the 20% so to be good, you only have to approach more people.  Sales is all about numbers...the more people you talk to, the more you sell.
Arguing with Christians is like playing chess with a pigeon.  No matter how good I am at chess, the pigeon is just going to knock over the pieces, shit on the board and strut around like it's victorious.

The truth is slow, but relentless. Over time it becomes irresistible.

That's probably the biggest problem I have: approaching people.  A lot of people might not have gotten this, but I am fairly well introverted....or bashful...or shy, however you want to put it.   I do much better with people approaching me, and the product I was asked to present is not anything that people are going to beat down the doors for.

If you find a product that YOU like and believe in....then SELLING is easy....and YOU are a person who can show passion...so find a way to be passionate about your product...and YOU WILL be successfull and have fun along the way.

Naw, I'm going to skip sales.  The only ones I've ever been good at are food and spirits, and like I said, when they walk in the door the customers KNOW they want that or they wouldn't have come in.

Speaking of which, that's the kind of full time job I wouldn't mind having right now.  Know anywhere that's hiring?
