What planet do you live on? Here in the southern half of the state, we are desperately hoping the grass dries out enough between thunderstorms, to keep from clogging up the mower.

HEY LOborne ,  what are you up to??  bender

LOsborne

What's this "LOsborne" crap, Bender? You've always called me Lolly.

Great!!!! to see you here.

WELL THAT IS WHAT YOUR GOING BY, NOW I WILL CALL YOU LOLLY. HOW ARE YOU DOING?  STILL GOT YOUR HUNK

LOsborne

Oh yes. The hunk is currently being a honey (that means he spends money on me, and watched me go to Ohio for four days without one whine.)

Are you able to get decent working hours in with all the thunderstorms?

ITS HARD TO GET 40. BEEN BUSY IN THE GARDEN &CANNING. HOPE ROB GETS THINGS GOING BEFORE THE SNOW BLOWS!! HAVE YOU TALKED TO HIM??

LOsborne

Yeah. He got a Trojan on the server, and has had a hell of a time getting shed of it. He had all of us protected, but the virus got his computer. He has been down for a couple of months, and is progressing slowly and cautiously.

I'm really happy to see you here. These folks are very much fun. Over in the Unmoderated section, it gets hot now and then, but you will see the same folks here in Moderated, only minutes later, being perfectly cordial. And so far, no one has been called a Point Of Sale.

bender

I HOPE HE GETS IT DONE. I AM TRYING TO GET THINGS FIGURED OUT HERE. YOU STAYING OUT OF TROUBLE?

LOsborne

Ya know.... how sometimes old memories are confused with old realities?

This being the 40th anniversary of Woodstock, I was reminiscing about those days at the water cooler this morning. A much younger co-worker asked me if I had been there.

I couldn't remember ....

p.s. Did you know that Wavy Gravy is still alive?

Dude! I was thinking about this very thing today!

Naw, I wasn't there but I bought the music and lived the aftermath with a lot of friends who were. I was 12 so there was no way I was going. Several of my school-mates had parents that took them though!

I was very surprised to learn Wavy Gravy is still sucking air!

I was 18, fresh out of HS and getting ready for college. I wasn't there either, but I was doing the freak thing and playing in a band called "Yer Mother's Mustache"

I still have a paisley shirt, some purple velvet corduroy bell bottoms and, of course, my old 1968 Gibson EB0.
